SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico -- Under plans developed by major-league baseball officials, Montreal would open its new part-time home in Puerto Rico on April 11 against the New York Mets.

While the proposal still hasn't been finalized, baseball officials are discussing having the Expos play at San Juan's Hiram Bithorn Stadium.

Mets: Tom Glavine gets to hear why he should sign with the New York Mets when the team meets with him today. Glavine is expected to travel to White Plains and meet with Mets officials, who want to show him potential areas he could live if he signs with New York, agent Gregg Clifton said.
