NSW: Fire destroys Blue Mountains house

SYDNEY, Aug 2 AAP - Five firefighting crews battled a major house fire in the Blue
Mountains this morning but were unable to save the property.

A fire brigade spokesman said the two-storey Wentworth Falls house was well alight when
crews were alerted shortly after 3.30am.

He said the occupants of the house were not at home.

It was not known what started the fire.
