Stellenbosch University announces shortlist for top post.(News)

Stellenbosch University has shortlisted two candidates for its top position of rector: Russel Botman, vice-rector (Teaching) at Stellenbosch University, and Victor Prozesky, physicist and expert in the field of corporate governance and leadership.

Botman is also president of the SA Council of Churches.

Stellenbosch University's communications manager Mo-hamed Shaikh said last night: "The process for the appointment of the new rector and vice-chancellor of Stellenbosch University has reached an advanced stage.
