NSW: Parasite linked to pools hits more than 150 in Sydney

New South Wales Health says more than 150 people .. mainly children .. have contracted
a parasitic infection this month .. some of them from public swimming pools.

Cyrptosporidiosis is caused by a parasitic infection of the intestine .. but there's
no treatment for it.

It can cause diarrhoea .. stomach cramps .. fever .. nausea and vomiting and may last
a few weeks.
