New Hats Are All Backward

ust when you thought baseball caps had undergone every possiblemutation, along comes something new. Californian Marty Karabeesdecided to remove the brim - you know, the thing that sticks down theback of your head when you wear your cap backward.

His Plain Geometry brand of brimless baseball caps still havethe plastic adjuster so you can look as if you're wearing your capbackward. Designs are embroidered on both sides. They sell forabout $16 at stores, including the Alley and Jennings, the AccessoryBar in Chicago and E. Street Denim Co. in Highland Park.

But what's a cap without a brim? Sure looks like a beanie tome.
