WA:Alleged wife killer appears in court.
PERTH, April 10 AAP - A 52-year-old man charged with murdering his wife and disguisingher death as a car crash made a brief appearance today in a West Australian court.
Benedict Chifley David Candy appeared in Albany Magistrates Court, charged with murderinghis wife Sylvia Lynne Candy, also 52.
Her body was found next to wreckage of the couple's vehicle at the base of a cliff30km from their hometown of Albany in January.
A post-mortem examination found Ms Candy died of head injuries, but police allege thesewere caused prior to the crash.
Candy was remanded in custody and listed to reappear in the WA Supreme Court on June 10.
