Other examples of attacks blamed on road rage reported so far this year:

MELBOURNE, Feb 27 - A 19-year-old driver allegedly chased another man seven kilometresbefore ramming his car and stabbing him. The victim had stab wounds to the head, backand leg and was unable to walk.

BRISBANE, Feb 28 - A truck driver needed 20 stitches to an arm wound about 20cm longafter he was punched and stabbed in an apparent road rage incident. A motorcyclist hadcut him off, stopped suddenly in the middle of the road, then launched the attack.

BRISBANE, April 1 - Road rage was believed to be a factor in the death of a 49-year-oldman in Queensland, after an incident involving two cars. The victim's car rolled ontoits roof after an altercation, killing the man.

SYDNEY, April 12 - In a second apparent road rage attack in a week, a man who droveinto the driveway of a fast food outlet and blew his horn to attract staff was stabbed.

Two nearby teenagers angry at the noise threw rocks at his car and stabbed the man inthe hip.
